Boorowa Council Water Restriction Levels

Council has currently imposed water restrictions at level 1 - an odds and evens system will now operate. If your property has an even house number, you are allowed to water on even days of the week. Alternatively, odd numbers water on odd days. Where the month ends on an odd day (that is 31st), both odd and even numbers are allowed to water on this day. Watering can only occur from 6am-8am and 6pm-9pm.

 WATER RESTRICTION LEVELS

Restrictions are based on the water level of the weir pool and come into force when the water level of the storage drops to the level in the following table:

        Level 1 - Water stops overflowing weir

        Level 2 - 300mm

        Level 3 - 500mm

        Level 4 - 700mm

        Level 5 - 900mm

        Level 6 - 1200mm

        Level 7 - 1500mm

Note: All measurements down from weir wall overflow.

The restrictions pertain to each Level are given in the following PDF files that can be viewed at the bottom of this section. The tables are designed to give each user, domestic, commercial, etc a fair share of the remaining storage while extending the life of the weir pool.

It is important for all users to voluntarily comply with the restrictions.
