Puggle Story Time - at the Boorowa Library

PUGGLES STORYTIME  - a free get together for pre-schoolers and their carers - commences 10.30am, at the library. New members are very welcome. Restarts Friday, 6 February 2015.

Boorowa Library is opening on Friday mornings, enabling a kids "Puggle Story Time" to be a regular service to the young children of Boorowa and local area (during school holidays Puggle Time will not be held).

Each Friday morning there will be nursery rhymes, songs, stories and a craft activity catering to children under 6 years of age - "puggles." This is a fun and free activity, so come along mums, dads, grandparents and carers, sit with your children and enjoy story time.

You do not have to be a member of the library to enjoy Puggle Story Time, it is open to everyone. Although membership to the library is free and only takes a couple of minutes to complete. Dilly the local librarian is happy to show you around and reveal all the wonderful resources the library has to offer.

The magic of story time can not be underestimated. Story time helps young children develop their imaginations, discover new ideas, improve listening and speaking skills. It can encourage the love of reading and introduce new authors and illustrations to families. It is a great excuse to get out of the house on a Friday morning and enjoy a fun, free, friendly activity and a chance to meet up with carers in your neighbour hood.
