NSW Rural Fire Service - Bush Fire Hazards and Prepare.Act.Survive Campaign

Boorowa Council and the NSW Rural Fire Service, wishes to advise all residents that all land owners have a responsibility to maintain vegetation on their land to an acceptable standard. 

Failure of a land owner or occupier to carry out hazard reduction work where a bush fire hazard exists may result in hazard complaints being lodged by members of the public and follow up action be the NSW Rural Fire Service. All land owners and occupiers have a responsibility to assist in the protection of our community. Please act on bush fire hazards NOW.

Bush fire hazard complaints can be forwarded to the NSW Rural Fire Service, South West Slopes Zone Office for their action at PO Box 40, Harden NSW 25887, by telephone on 6386 3170 or by fax on 6386 3537
